Description

In 1908 Giulio Bernardini built the Modern Hotel on Corso Roma on behalf of Alfredo Scannavini, son of Alfonso, owner of the Hotel Eden.
The building, which maintained its original square corner plan, had three floors and a painted eaves.
The sign stood out on the façade, a sign of modernity also for the characters used.
Over time, the hotel was expanded by adding two floors and the name of the hotel changed to Hotel Moderno.
In the 1960s the building was used for residential purposes, and currently houses a bank on the ground floor.
