Description

The Montecatini railway station was inaugurated in 1853.
However, already at the beginning of the 20th century, the station was considered insufficient for the high flow of visitors during the spa season.
Therefore, in 1937, a second station was built not far from the first, the Stazione Nuova or Mazzoni.
